I understand how this political cartoon was meant to be shown. I believe the cartoon was meant to say that our elected officials are a bunch of chimps that are not willing to make the tough decisions and what ended up happening was some groups of people turned it into a remark saying the paper was making raciest comments towards our current sitting president.
Also on 620 WTMJ during James T. Harris Show, on Saturdays show, he did about a 30 minute segment on how he thought that the people who turned this into a raciest slam are just trying to bring back problems that should have ended long ago and trying to distract us form the problem at hand.
